Fallen Pine Flower Farm

Regenerative farming

“Reviving the Earth, One Blossom at a Time” – Regenerative Farming for a Sustainable Future.

Our Farm

Nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada, our quarter-acre farm is located amidst the wild conifer forest of the greater Grass Valley area. Surrounded by towering pines and lush undergrowth, our farm is a perfect blend of agricultural charm and forest tranquility. This unique setting not only enriches our farming experience but also connects us deeply with the rhythms of nature.

At Fallen Pine Flower Farm, sustainability and regenerative farming are not just buzz words we use, they are the core practices we use to grow happy and healthy flowers. We’ve adopted techniques like pulse irrigation, which reduced our water usage by two-thirds. Additionally, we are expanding our farm with the use of Hugelkultur beds which allows us to utilize downed timber and increase our carbon sequestration.

Our Flowers

Our passion for healthy soil runs deep. We believe that nurturing the rich network of life in our soil is key to growing vibrant, resilient flowers. All of our flowers are grown using no-till practices in both raised and in-ground beds, free of any pesticides.

We feed our soil with a mix of our compost, organic compost, and worm tea, and use cover crops regularly. This approach is key to keeping our soil full of life, which is essential for creating a strong foundation for growing healthy, happy flowers. By prioritizing the health of our soil, we ensure that our flowers receive all the nutrients they need, leading to vibrant blooms and a flourishing garden.
